From the Pearl of Asia to the Pearl of Africa
We met in September 2019 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Myoung came to Laurent's housewarming party, and that's where it all started.
We went through some wild times together, including the pandemic — even visited the quiet, empty Angkor Wat, which was a pretty unforgettable experience.
Though we spent some time apart (Laurent in Lagos, Portugal and Myoung back in Seoul), we made sure to visit each other as much as possible. We traveled a lot and made so many great memories along the way.
Myoung also spent a year volunteering as a teacher in Uganda which quickly became a special place for both of us. It was there that Laurent popped the question, and now we're excited to start this new chapter and plan a lifetime together.
